History: Wiki (I've got a bone to pick with some of this but ANYWAY)

Personality:
A suave, smooth-talking jerk of a prosecutor, Godot revels in his enigmatic persona and most everything about him is a mystery. His sharp intellect and obvious courtroom expertise are slightly dampened by the fact he's an over-the-top weirdo. He speaks in baffling metaphors and incoherent philosophical screeds that make little sense and often require him to explain them. He loves to cite contradictory personal "rules" made up off the top of his head. And that's not even to mention the coffee thing...

Quirks aside, Godot is confident and undeniably charismatic. He's a talented conversationalist and can be quite charming with others... when he feels like it. When he doesn't feel like it, he's arrogant, cocky, and condescending. He enjoys giving teasing nicknames and needling reactive people for his own amusement. This can range from gentle jabs to cutting insults and flagrant disrespect. His abrasiveness and aloof personality keep others at arm's length, and he guards his true intentions, thoughts, and feelings behind an unflappable "cool" persona.

Under the mask, Godot is a passionate man with extreme, bullheaded dedication to his personal goals. He holds obsessive grudges against those perceived to have wronged him, no matter how irrational on his part. He also sports a massive hero complex, blaming himself for tragic events far beyond his control-- then coping with this by projecting onto others as hard as he possibly can. His stoic facade hides intense pain; anger and sorrow have warped him into a profoundly lonely, self-loathing shadow of his former self. His "Godot" persona is little more than a desperate coping mechanism that's transparently not working at all. But however low he's sunk, shades of the man Godot used to be remain. He plays fair in court and remains dedicated to the ideals of justice. He still has a moral code that he won't betray, and has a notable soft spot for children.

Notoriously, Godot is obsessed with coffee and drinks more in one day than most people drink in a week. He creates his own blends and can analyze different brews by smell and taste. He has an uncanny ability to never be without a hot cup of his favorite beverage, whether in the middle of a courtroom or on the side of a desolate mountain (the mechanics behind this are played for laughs, though it can be assumed he makes use of a large collection of thermoses and portable percolators.)

Abilities:
- Lawyer: Godot is learned, sharp, intellectual, and good at thinking on the fly. He was widely celebrated for his talent as a defense attorney and his "style" has been passed down to multiple generations of lawyers since. Though he's new at prosecution, others remark on his confidence and skill at the job.
- Charisma: Though he's currently using it to be dramatic and weird, Godot has undeniable charm and charisma that makes him good at winning people over. He is able to puzzle out what makes people tick and sway them to his side-- even if it's against their own self-interest, in several cases.
- Coffee Aficionado: To put it lightly. Godot is obsessed with coffee. He's able to tell blends apart by smell and taste, and he brews his own custom blends of exceptionally high quality. His obscene caffeine tolerance is not actually an ability, he's just that much of a freak, but I feel like I should mention it anyway.
